Q: Have Bab and Baha’s science been extraordinary? Have Baba and Baha’s works been beyond hu8man sciences?

A: Considering Bab’s books; that is, Persian and Arabic Bayan, each impartial person and each fair man can confess he has been surely mad. This issue has been clearly stated by the great Islamic scholars in their researches. Several western orientalists such as Edward Brown to whom the Baha’is themselves have invoked, has stipulated that Ali Muhammad Bab Shirazi has recited invocations and incantations from the morning till night on the roof against the blazing sun when the weather was really hot in Boushehr city and water was boiling in the jar.[1]

“Nabil Zarandi history” has confirmed this issue and stated: “The Excellency Bab was busy doing business in Boushehr city most of the time. He’s gone on the roof under the hot sun and prayed… he was worshiping from dawn to dusk.[2]”

Of course, Ali Muhammad Bab Shirazi had turned to Sheikism incantations to acquire the spiritual blessings, this issue shows that he had been in the service of his master Seyyed Kazem Rashti. It is also declared in Nabil history: “the Excellency Ba was staring the sun at dawn like a lover who is paying attention to his/ her beloved and was whispering amorously… . The ignorant people was thinking that he was sunshine worshiper.[3]

This issue has been confirmed in Babi and Baha’i reference books.

Late Reza Qoli Khan Hedayat writes: “He was standing against the hot sun and was going to conquer the sun…[4]”

Moreover, Etezad-al-Saltaneh writes: “When he went on the roof to purify his soul in Boushehr city, he was reciting forged incantations with his bare head against the hot sun…[5]”

Mr. Ayati entitled “Avareh” has written in the book “Kavakebuddoriyeh”: “Ali Muhammad Shirazi was won fame as Seyyed of incantation for reciting recitals on the roof. Gradually he was writing prayers and incantation…”
