The Excellency Ayatullah Sobhani in sage Zonozi’s gathering:

“Baha’ism is a creed because it doesn’t believe in resurrection day.”

Bahaismiran:

Pointing out late Zonozi’s thoughts regarding resurrection day subject, Ayatullah Sobhani stated: “Resurrection is an earnest issue according to Islamic and non-Islamic religions to such an extent that God notes resurrection issue in the primary speeches regarding the creation.”

Stating that all atheists were sensitive about the resurrection issue, Ayatullah Sobhani expressed: “The reason for this sensitivity is that an atheist don’t like to have each condition in his/her life; so the holy Quran stresses on the resurrection issue; so that, late the great scholar Tabatabaee said: “There are 2000 verses regarding resurrection and the atheists afraid of it more than any other issues.”

He continued: “The resurrection issue is few among the Jews and in the Old Testament; so eliminating this issue means removing the religion; so it equals to creed, consequently, Baha’ism which doesn’t believe in resurrection is a creed because believing in God, resurrection and prophethood are three basic principles of a religion.”
