Baha’is and eight- year sacred Defense

Bahaismiran: Baha’is have introduced Iran as their promised land and considered it as the holy land. Baha’is look towards Iran is the same as the Jewish one to Palestine. A look that is inconsistent with their teachings. Yes, Baha’ism prevents its followers away from bigotry and prejudice. Thus, Abbas Effendi (the second head of Baha’ism) keeps Baha’is away from belonging to religion, patriotism, honor and etc. he writes: The Excellency Bahaullah saved us against each kind of bigotry. Bigotries have ruined the world. Each kind of quarrel and annoyance happened in the world is due to the religious, patriotic, sexual or political bigotry. Bigotry is harmful from any kind. When bias is kept away from the world, the humane world will be saved. We are trying for this cherished aim.”

According to this clear message, Baha’is must be bigot towards their home, honor, religion and beliefs because bigotry prevents them obeying the Universal House of Justice organization. In order to dominate over its members, the Baha’ism organization keeps Baha’is away from each kind of bigotry and bias towards the most important ones including religion, honor, and hometown; while bigotry doesn’t always mean having a traditional and strict look at something; but it sometimes mean support, Zeal and devotion.

The Baha’ism organization assumes keeping away from bigotry as an absolute prejudice.

This organizational message along with the slogan of non-intervention in politics a means for Baha’is to leave defending their country. Yes, Baha’is prevented defending their country during eight-year sacred defense. Whereas all the religions and faiths headed off the front to defend the hometown and honor.

I this regard, Mahnaz Raoufi a lady who has turned against Baha’ism says: “During the war [between Iran and Iraq], when people were killed, Baha’is were ruthlessly saying the more Muslims are kill, the better it will be. Particularly, when the alien radios were broadcasting the number of martyrs in the war, Baha’is became happy insulting the Muslim combatants. Baha’is prevented taking part the front and announced they disagree with the war and they kept away from fighting with the excuse of non-intervention in politics. They didn’t defend their country… they are continually speaking about love in human world in their classes; but they are cruel and ruthless in action to such an extent that they become cheerful with the martyrdom of the youth of their country.

“Keyhan” newspaper writes about Baha’is activities during eight-years sacred defense: “During the Sacred Defense years as ordered by “Aka”, Baha’is were buying lands, house and apartments, because the apartments were really cheap to be bought during the war. Whenever they felt a person needed money, they were trying to buy his/her land or house cheaply. It is interesting to be noted that Israel had ordered Baha’is to buy lands and apartment from Muslims not Baha’is or the Jewish.
